BSc/MSc background in Earth and Computational sciences 

Achieved at the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit  Amsterdam

Stijn is an enthousiastic entrepeneur in urban data science. After finishing his BSc in Earth sciences, Stijn felt the urge to further develop his skill set towards a more data-driven career. This resulted in his enrolment in the MSc Computational sciences. Parallel to his first year, he noticed that his interest lay in urban complexities. This is what brought him to MSc MADE. Here, he further developed his skills and participated in the Urban Greenhouse Challenge. After 8 months of hard work, his team got rewarded 3rd place in this international competition. Now he is highly driven to bring the Young Urban Engineers to a new level of professionality and intimacy together with Quinten Isselman.
