Ruben has always had a broad interest in both food systems and the built environment. He believes that everyone should have access to affordable nutrition and that there lies great potential in what is now regarded as ‘waste’. Furthermore, having always lived in the city has sparked his interest in improving the urban realm for everyone that wants to be part of it. Through the MSc MADE program and YUE, he has been able to expand his knowledge in both fields. Now currently working for a real estate developer, his skills in setting up sustainable business models and working out ambitious concept ideas are being put to the test.
